If you set up an owl and leave it in place for the whole season, pests can easily adapt to its presence, even if its head spins. When filling your rotating head owl with sand, please take care to not allow the head to fall off and drop to the ground. We cannot be responsible for heads that break, and you will need to order a replacement.
