Dalen's owl decoys are designed for effectiveness and simplicity, and one way to do this is by making the owls flexible in their positioning. While some people use weighted rocks inside the owls and place in lower areas or sitting on structures, others like to hang from the tree on brackets. These are quite effective, given their more realistic appearance, and have received good feedback for their results.

However, we also got comments that the brackets were not as strong as desired, and could bend over time from the weight of the owl. So we have re-build them with 50% more weight and overall stronger design. We are happy with the results of these new owl brackets, and think that you will be too!
